Clara Ann KING was born on 15 May 1871 in Hokitika, New Zealand.^40,85 15 May or 24 Sept She lived Gisborne, New Zealand in Russell St, Gisborne, NZ about 1900.⁴⁰ After her husband died in 1940, her daughter Lorna and family moved into the house in Russell Street. Clara moved with Lorna and family to Hamilton in 1944, and with them in 1946 to Christchurch, later moved to her other daughter Jean in New Plymouth. She died on 1 Jan 1954 in New Plymouth NZ. She had her estate probated on 30 Mar 1954 in Gisborne, NZ.⁸⁶ She was a school teacher.

Clara Ann KING and Dalrymple Guthrie ROBERTSON were married in 1897 in Stratford NZ.⁸⁷ Dalrymple Guthrie ROBERTSON (son of John ROBERTSON and Euphemia GUTHRIE) was born on 25 Feb 1869 in Oamaru NZ.^40,88 He died on 19 Nov 1940 in Russell St, Gisborne, NZ.⁸⁹ He had his estate probated on 23 Dec 1940 in Gisborne, NZ.⁹⁰ He was a road engineer in Stratford then Dannevirke. with brother Jack He was a Ranger, Lands and Survey Department in Gisborne.⁴⁰ Clara Ann KING and Dalrymple Guthrie ROBERTSON had the following children:
