He was married to Clara Ann KING (daughter of William Campbell KING and Clara HUGHES) in 1897 in Stratford NZ.⁽²²⁾ Clara Ann KING was born on 15 May 1871 in Hokitika, New Zealand. ⁽¹²⁾ 15 May or 24 Sept She died on 1 Jan 1954 in New Plymouth NZ.
