He was married to Sarah ROGERS (daughter of James ROGERS and Charlotte (ROGERS)) on 4 Apr 1824 in St Denys, Warminster, Wilts. (5) Sarah ROGERS was christened on 24 Aug 1800 in Kingswood Wesleyan, Bristol, Glos.(26) She died on 23 Dec 1871 in Avenue rd, Lewisham. She was a Straw hat maker 1822 - in Warminster. Pigots Directory 1822, Warminster Death from cert. went to live in Lewisham with daughter Ellen. Tombstone at St Denys, Warminster; died 1871 at Lewisham age 71.
