Christmas crib in lights at Regua, Portugal
We started the New Year with travel on a short cruise up the river Douro starting from Oporto. We were delighted that Barbara's QEC colleagues Maureen Palmer and Stella Rogers were in the party. Unfortunately we were unable to visit Salamanca in Spain because a lock on the Douro was being repaired but enjoyed Portuguese scenery, towns, vineyards, food, wine and especially the fine port, product of the hills we were passing between.
