In April we returned to our archaeological tours, this time to visit the ancient cities of Pergamum, Ephesus and Miletus on or near the Adriatic coast of Turkey; we then turned inland to Hierapolis finishing at Antalya. The weather was kind to us, and with a good lecturer we thoroughly enjoyed this glimpse of the history and some of the glories of ancient Greece and Rome.
